Get in touch

Email [SUPPORT EMAIL].

If something has gone wrong, three lines save us a round trip: what you tapped, what happened instead, and your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About). Please don’t paste your journal entries into an email. We don’t need them to fix anything, and we’d rather not read them.

Postal, if you’d prefer: Lore Technologies Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, England.

How do I get everything out?

Settings → Export. It runs immediately: no queue, no email link, no waiting. You get every entry verbatim with its date, plus your settings and your brain, in a file you can keep or take elsewhere. Do this before you delete anything.

I’ve forgotten my password

On the sign-in screen, enter your address and tap Forgotten it? A code arrives by email; type it with a new password and you are back in. Your entries were never in danger.

How do I delete everything?

Settings → Delete account. Immediate and irreversible. It takes your entries, your brain, your portrait and your account with it. We can’t restore it afterwards, so export first if there’s any doubt.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Apple owns that side. See below.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Apple handles billing, so cancellation lives there: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Firvo → Cancel. There is no free trial, so the year is charged when you subscribe. Cancel whenever you like and you keep Firvo until the end of the year you’ve paid for. Refund requests go to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Refunds are Apple’s to give, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a refund is refused and you think that’s wrong, email us anyway and we’ll see what we can do.

A question passed me by. Have I ruined it?

No. Nothing in Firvo resets or counts against you: it counts the days you keep, never the days you miss. The daily question waits a few days for you: open Today and tap the row that says some questions passed you by.

Moments are different: they live for thirty minutes and then they’re gone for good. That’s deliberate. A Moment asks what’s true right now, and an hour later the honest answer would be a reconstruction. Nothing piles up, so there is never anything to catch up on.

Can I change how it speaks to me, or when?

Yes, whenever you like. Settings holds the tone (gentle, curious or direct), the hour your question arrives or whether it surprises you, how many Moments a day you want, and the hours you’re happy to be asked in. Change any of it as often as you want; the brain doesn’t mind.

The questions have stopped arriving

Almost always notifications. Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Firvo is allowed, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t holding them back during your chosen hours. The question is still waiting inside the app either way. Open Today and it’s there.

Does anyone read my entries?

No person at Firvo reads your journal. An AI model does, to build your private brain and write your next question. That is how the personalisation works, and we set it out in full in the privacy policy rather than leaving you to guess. Your words are never used to train any model, by us or by anyone else.

It asked something I don’t want to answer

Then don’t. Leave it; tomorrow brings another. If a subject is one you’d rather it left alone, tap the glyph at the top right, then What it's noticed at the foot of your Book, open that thread and choose Let it rest. It will steer away from it for a fortnight. If you want the opposite, Ask me about this soon is on the same sheet.

Is Firvo therapy?

No. Firvo is a journal that asks questions. It isn’t counselling, therapy, diagnosis or treatment, it isn’t staffed by clinicians, and no person reads your entries. An automated check only makes the next few days’ questions gentler if an answer suggests acute distress; it alerts nobody. Please don’t use it as a way of reaching help. Use the numbers below, which are staffed by people whose job this is.
